ConDoc FLEX Configurator Settings
What makes ConDoc FLEX possible is a new setting in the ConDoc Configurator that offers two options for handling layers/tags that are not included in the drawing set. When this dropdown is set to "Ignore layers not defined in the drawing set", ConDoc will use the current state of layer/tag visibility and hidden geometry/objects. ConDoc PRO uses the "Hide layers not defined in the drawing set" setting, which will turn off any layer that is not included in the ConDoc System layers.
ConDoc FLEX does not require any specific layers, although the "CONDOC_2D Graphic" and "CONDOC_3D Object" layers are included with this drawing set. These layers allow you to use the ConDoc Dynamic Window and Door, and other ConDoc objects available on the
ConDoc Tools 3D Warehouse Collection. You can also use the 3D Object/2D Graphic layers to force a desired look that is not possible with simple section cuts.
Keep in mind that you still need to manage these layers manually when using ConDoc FLEX . A few tips...
- Turn off the "CONDOC_2D Graphic" layer when using the ConDoc Perspective, Elevation, and Section Tools.
- Turn off the "CONDOC_3D Object" layer when using the ConDoc Plan Generator.
ConDoc FLEX Layers
If you assign the "CONDOC_3D Object" layer to an object, you will need a corresponding 2D representation with the "CONDOC_2D Graphic" layer assigned, and vice versa.
