Overview
The Plan Generator automates tags, styles, scenes, shadows, and section cut settings to create a variety of plan scenes. These scenes are then stacked in LayOut to create a complete drawing, automated by the ConDoc Drawing Export. You can access the Plan Generator from the Extensions dropdown > ConDoc > ConDoc Tools > Plan Generator, or from the ConDoc Tools Toolbar.
Project Setup
The first time you run any ConDoc Tool, you will be prompted to complete the Project Setup dialog. This is especially important for the Plan Generator. Set the number of levels, with or without a basement, and enter the finished floor heights. Click "Save" to confirm the Project Setup information that will be stored with your SketchUp file (.skp).
The finished floor heights are measured straight up and down on the blue axis from the origin, not from the sketching context. Right click on any axis and choose "Reset" to see the origin.
Plan Drawings
Check each of the drawings you would like to create. The available drawings are controlled by the active drawing set (.condoc). Industry drawing sets (ie. ARCHITECT, INTERIORS) have specific plan drawings like foundation, construction, furniture, and roof plans. The FLEX drawing set has more generic plans like overhead.
Plan Scenes
The resulting scenes are determined by settings in the active drawing set (.condoc). Visible tags, styles, shadows, and section cuts. Once the scenes are created, you can update any of the scene properties
Be sure not to change the Scene name, which will disrupt the ConDoc Drawing Export.
